- Richard

One year ago today I walked into HRC a total mess. Today marks one year. One year with not a drop of alcohol. My diet is not as strict as it was during the program, but I am still very aware of it, and really do a good job of eating right and regular exercise. I still take all the maintenance supplements on the list I was given.

I feel great! My relationship with ——- and our kids has never been better. My work ethic is stronger. My concentration is better. Overall everything is great.

Sometimes I think we all have days when we wonder why we do what we do, or if we make any progress in our greater cause, but I want you to know you changed this life for the better. I think of you often, and felt it was important to tell you on this day.

Thank you again for everything.

- M.L.

Thank you for all that you have done for me since I started at HRC. The lectures were very informative and I learned a lot.

- Shannon

Were your goals accomplished?
Yes. The only thing not accomplished was to quit smoking.

What is the most significant change for you as a result of the program?
No cravings for alcohol (or sugar)! I wake up rested, body feels amazing, rested, and ready for the day. My mind has a sense of focus, peacefulness, and hopefulness. I feel whole again.

Please address the value (for you) of combining biochemical repair with emotional therapy.
Having testing done and learning just what was going on with my body was invaluable. Being able to treat my body once knowing the underlying cause [of my problems], fantastic! Put that together with some emotional therapy and just learning how to deal with life as it comes is a perfect combo.

Would you recommend Health Recovery Center to others seeking treatment for chemical dependency or mental health issues?
Absolutely I would … it’s a life changing program!

- S.M.

Words can't begin to express my thanks to all of you. Besides the extreme improvement of my physical state, I've learned a holistic lifestyle that will stay with me throughout my years. You all have very unique talents, which combined, form a synergistic healing team. One thing consistent among all of you is your true compassion, and desire to help your clients. Once again, thanks to all of you, for your invaluable help in providing me the tools I'll need to build a fulfilling life, the education to use these tools successfully, and the encouragement to persevere.

Take Care,

- R

I don’t think it can be done any other way. You can’t do one without the other. My body was physically ailing when I came to HRC. Without the nutrients, IVs, etc., I would not have the healthy sobriety I do now.

- M.G.

The biochemical part was huge, but along with that, having some talks with counselors for emotional therapy made a major difference, once I started feeling better. I will recommend it (the HRC program) to anyone who needs help.

- BW

One thousand, Two Hundred and Ninety-Three days I have been sober thanks to HRC.

Best Regards,

- M.H.

I just want to thank you for your book first of all. My husband hasn’t had a drink for four years. The first year was the hardest. It’s a lifestyle change and a work in progress. We has the recommended medicine (supplements) from the book three times and he has been fine ever since.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Kind Regard,

- K.G.

My life was spiraling out of control because of alcohol. My marriage and family life were failing. Even my dog didn’t like me. My life changed the day I entered the HRC program for alcohol abuse. Because of HRC, I was able to save my marriage and family life. Yes, even my dog loves me again. I have accomplished things since my graduation that would not have been possible before HRC.

Positive points of the program were the lab tests, IVs, supplements, and availability of the staff to answer questions and provide help. Lectures were interesting and informative. One to one sessions were wonderful and very helpful. Group sessions were engaging and enjoyable. Films: most were very informative (post 1980s please). Favorite group: Food options and prep. Favorite lectures: Biochemistry of Behavior and Hypoglycemia Most valuable information: All of it is relevant and necessary. Goals upon entering treatment: To save my life. I knew that I wasn’t drinking because I wanted to. I could stop for a while but it would creep right back up on me. I now feel that “I can and have stopped” because of learning to treat my body with a healthy diet and vitamins. It changed my life, saved my life.
