What is the Length of the Program?

HRC’s treatment program cover an intensive six weeks (36 days). Repairing the brain and establishing biochemical balance makes for a long list of things to do in this short amount of time; you will find that the six weeks flies by.

Complications, such as weaning off psychiatric drugs, may require additional time within the program to stabilize some clients. These matters are determined on an individual basis after you check in.

Is the HRC program for Substance Use Disorders Inpatient or Outpatient?

Health Recovery Center is an intensive outpatient treatment center licensed by the State of Minnesota. This means that clients are not confined to our facility, nor do we supply meals. What we do provide is a biomedical treatment program combined with therapy to help clients rebuild their health and regain control of their life.

Should Someone Stay with a Client When They Go Through the Program?

This answer is determined on an individual basis. Because some of our clients are very sick, they often require assistance to effectively progress through our program. Regardless, the support of friends or loved ones is always beneficial to a difficult healing process.
